The barn is set within the village of Saulchoy, in the Val d'Authie, part of the picturesque Sept Vallées (Seven Valleys) region.

It is 40 minutes drive from the Tunnel and with easy access to Le Touquet and the historic walled town of Montreuil. This is probably the prettiest part of France within easy reach of the channel ports and a favourite with English tourists.

There are two good restaurants nearby, a boulangerie for fresh bread, golf, horse riding, walking -- and of course the beaches and night life of Le Touquet.
